Lluís Quintana-Murci

Human Evolutionary Genetics, Institut Pasteur. Paris, France

Lluís Quintana-Murci, from the Human Evolutionary Genetics Unit at the Institut Pasteur in Paris, France, focuses on the different factors (selective, demographic, and genomic) shaping the variability of the human genome. In particular, he studies the genetic and functional diversity of genes involved in immune response or host-pathogen interactions using an evolutionary approach combining population genetics, cellular genomics, immunology and computational modelling.

He has been invited by David Comas (UPF).
