François Guillemot

Generation of Cell Diversity in the Brain, The Francis Crick Institute. London, UK

François Guillemot, from the Francks Crick Institute in London, UK, studies how the different types of cells that constitute the nervous system are generated at appropriate times and locations to form functional neural circuits. In order to identify the mechanisms that underlie the generation and functioning of the nervous system he uses the embryonic and adult brain of mouse as an experimental model.

He has been invited by Berta Alsina (UPF).
