Eva Schernhammer, from the Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School in the US, focuses on the influence of lifestyle as well as gene-environment interactions in the context of chronic diseases, including a variety of cancers such as breast, colon, and pancreatic cancer, cardiovascular disease and diabetes, and neurodegenerative diseases. Her research is embedded in the Harvard cohorts and other national and international observational studies.

She has been invited by Manolis Kogevinas (CREAL).
