Department of Physiology, Development and Neuroscience, School of the Biological Sciences, University of Cambridge. Cambridge, UK

Sarah Bray, from the University of Cambridge, UK, is interested in understanding the signalling pathways that co-ordinate the decisions made by cells during development. Her lab focuses mainly on the Notch signalling pathway that mediates cell-cell interactions, is highly conserved throughout evolution and has important roles in many developmental decisions. She uses a combination of genetic and genomic approaches to find novel targets that are regulated by Notch in different contexts, including neural cells.

She has been invited by Anna Bigas (IMIM).
