Gata2 and the dynamic process of hematopoietic development

Scientific sessions, PRBB CRG Conferences

Elaine Dzierzak

Tissue Remodelling and Regeneration Research Group, MRC Centre for Inflammation Research, The University of Edinburgh. Edinburgh, UK

Elaine Dzierzak, from the University of Edinburgh in UK, aims to understand how adult hematopoietic stem cells (HSC) are generated so as to identify and manipulate the molecular programs leading to their generation, maintenance and regeneration. Using a unique combination of transgenic models, cell lines and differentiation protocols, the fundamental and translational goals of heir research will yield important information on the genetic program that drives HSC production and expansion. She has been invited by Anna Bigas (IMIM).
