They f**k you up, your mum and dad.
They may not mean to, but they do.
They fill you with the faults they had
And add some extra, just for you.
Ben is an ICREA Professor and senior group leader in the EMBL-CRG Systems Biology Program where he has been for the past ten years. He studied Natural Sciences at Cambridge, has a PhD from Cambridge and was a post-doc at the Sanger institute. His lab uses data and diverse model systems to understand how genetic and non-genetic variation results in the phenotypic differences amongst individuals. He was awarded the EMBO Gold Medal, Bettencourt Prize, Eppendorf Award, Balfour Prize, City of Barcelona Prize, Banc Sabadell Prize, FEBS Anniversary Prize and the National Research Prize for a Young investigator. His lab is primarily funded by the ERC and fellowships to members of the lab.
