Building the mammalian embryo in vivo and in vitro

Scientific sessions, PRBB CRG Conferences

Magdalena Zernicka-Goetz

Mammalian Embryo and Stem Cell Group, Department of Physiology, Development & Neuroscience, University of Cambridge. Cambridge, UK

Zernicka-Goetz, from the University of Cambridge, UK, investigates molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying the specification of cell lineages and patterning during early embryo development. They combine novel cell biology and molecular genetics approaches with live embryo imaging to study plasticity, pluripotency, cell fate and embryo function. She has been invited by PhD Students.
