Georges Lacaud, from the Cancer Research Manchester, UK, is studying embryonic blood development focusing on a wide spectrum of topics, including cell reprogramming, the role of Runx1 at the earliest stage of haematopoietic commitment, the role of the histone acetyl-transferase activity of MOZ during haematopoiesis, and the generation of smooth muscle cells by the haemangioblast.

He has been invited by Anna Bigas (IMIM).
