Rachel Tyndale

Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, University of Toronto. Toronto, Canada

Tyndale, from the University of Toronto, in Canada, investigates the influences of drugs of abuse on brain cytochromes P450 (CYPs), integrating the fields of drug metabolism and receptor neuropharmacology. She aims to identify interindividual differences in neurotoxicity and drug response. Her experimental approach principally involves biochemical, protein and molecular biological techniques. She has been invited by Óscar Garcia-Algar and Rafael de la Torre (IMIM).
