Scientific sessions, PRBB CRG Conferences

Iannis Aifantis

NYU School of Medicine, Howard Hughes Medical Institute. New York, USA

Aifantis, from the NYU School of Medicine and the Howard Hughes Medical Institute in New York, USA, is focused on understanding the molecular mechanisms controlling hematopoietic stem cell (HSC) self-renewal, differentiation and transformation. Aifantis has made important contributions by studying the role of the Notch pathway as an oncogenic trigger in acute lymphoblastic leukemia. He has been invited by Anna Bigas (IMIM).
