Sensory processing and motor control in larval zebrafish

Scientific sessions, PRBB CRG Conferences

Engert, from the Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology at the Harvard University in Cambridge, USA, is focused on how neural circuits generate behaviour and adapt it to changes in sensory feedback. Engert is interested in the neural dynamics that occur during adaptive locomotion throughout the brain of the zebrafish, and provide an anatomical map of their locations. A subset of these signals occurred during behavioral adjustments and are attractive candidates for the functional elements that drive motor learning. He has been invited by Andreas Braun (CRG).
