Evidence of selection in the human genome: Poygenic adaptation and expansion load

Scientific sessions, PRBB CRG Conferences

Laurent Excoffier

Institute of Ecology and Evolution, University of Bern. Bern, Switzerland

Excoffier, from the Institute of Ecology and Evolution at the University of Bern, Switzerland, is interested in the development of computational methods to understand evolutionary processes, such as how past climatic and environmental changes have influenced the pattern of genetic diversity of a given species, or how to detect evidence of local adaptations from genomic information.

He has been invited by David Comas and Ferran Casals (UPF).
