Didier Attaix, from the Human Nutrition Unit at INRA and the Clermont Université in Clermont-Ferrand, France, is interested in proteolysis and the key role it plays in the control of muscle growth and atrophy. In particular, he focuses on the identification of skeletal muscle substrates of the proteasome by using cell cultures, animal models and human biopsies.

He has been invited by Esther Barreiro (IMIM).
