PRBB Intervals

Reimund Fickert

Who are the owners of scientific intellectual property? Are open access policy and patents compatible? Why is patenting useful? How much will it cost? And who will pay for it?
The course will deliver basic information on intellectual property, the information required to file a patent, the process and strategies to protect IP in order to fit scientific publications with the patent world. It will also deal with the relevance and timing of scientific publications that contain parts of the invention.
