CREAL: European symposium on air quality, noise and health effects on urban aglomerations 2015

On June 5th, the World Environment Day, the "European symposium on air quality, noise and health effects on urban aglomerations 2015" will take place in the World Trade Center of Barcelona. This event is organized by the Department of Territory and Sustainability of the Government of Catalonia together with the Center for Research in Environmental Epidemiology (CREAL) and the Institute for Global Health of Barcelona (ISGlobal).

The aim of the symposium is to exchange knowledge and experiences to improve air quality and noise reduction in European metropolitan areas in order to preserve the health of people and the environment.

The conference will include the participation of the Director of the Department of Territory and Sustainability, Hon. Mr. Santi Vila, the Secretary of Environment and Sustainability, Mr. Josep Enric Llebot, the General Director of Environmental Quality, Mrs. Assumpta Farran, Dr. Antoni Plasencia, Director of ISGlobal, and Dr. Josep Maria Antó, Director of CREAL, among others.
