The 2014 Quiral Report is part of the Quiral Project, an initiative of the Vila Casas Foundation together with the Studies Center on Science, Communication and Society (CCS-UPF), included in the Department of Experimental and Health Sciences (DCEXS). This edition analyses exhaustively how the public communication of the Ebola outbreak was performed both by national and international media (RTVE, El País, La Vanguardia, The New York Times and BBC) and also in Twitter. It also explores the impact of this communication on the Google search behaviors, a clear indicator of the society's interest or concern about a subject during a determinate period of time.
The presentation event of the report was open for the public and took place on June, 18 th at 19h at the Charles Darwin Room of the Barcelona Biomedical Research Park (PRBB).
