News from IBE (CSIC-UPF)
Laura Batlle, Erica Bianco, Sílvia Chafino, Lara Rubio and Alba Ventós and are visiting five educational centres of Barcelona to tell their students what their job involves and what inspired them to pursue a scientific career. These visits are organised in the occasion of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, February the 11th, and are aimed at giving visibility to women scientists to advance towards gender equality in science.
To get more women in STEM, little girls need role models. With that goal in mind, these five female researchers of the IBE are giving several talks in schools from February the 8th to the 14th on their experience as scientists.
