News from UPF
The PhD Programme in Biomedicine of the Pompeu Fabra University (UPF) has obtained its accreditation from the University Quality Agency of Catalonia (AQU Catalonia). The main objective of this accreditation is to guarantee that the studies are developed according to quality standards established by the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA).
The accreditation process was based on the evaluation of a self-assessment report by a committee of experts and their visit to the PRBB facilities, where the PhD Programme is mostly developed. During the visit, the committee had the opportunity to know the facilities where most of the doctoral students carry out their research and interview them, as well as, among others, talk with thesis directors and members of the Academic Committee of the program.
As a result of this process, the PhD Programme in Biomedicine has been accredited in progress towards excellence, the highest rating granted by AQU Catalonia.
