IBE (CSIC-UPF): The others, our biased perspective of eukaryotic genomes

News from IBE (CSIC-UPF)

An opinion article published in Trends in Ecology and Evolution explains that, despite the advances in genome analysis techniques in the recent years and the efforts to study the genomes of various organisms, knowledge of the variety present in eukaryotes or higher organisms is still extremely poor.

The articles was written by Javier del Campo and Iñaki Ruiz Trillo, researchers at the Institute of Evolutionary Biology (IBE:CSIC-UPF), and involving Canadian and American researchers.
