PRBB Intervals & CRG: "Good science, honest science", a research integrity workshop open to all residents

News from PRBB Intervals

Next July 7th there will be a workshop about good scientific practice -  “Good science, honest science”- co-organised between the CRG and the PRBB Intervals Programme. If you are either a junior or senior researcher, it will be a good opportunity to refresh your knowledge about responsible conduct on research - a hot topic for funding agencies, scientific journals and also research institutions!

The workshop will be highly interactive with lots of opportunities for discussion with colleagues and experts. Michele Garfinkel, Manager of the Science Policy Programme at the EMBO, will talk about general issues and policies in good scientific practice. And Alison North, Senior Director of the Bio-Imaging Resource Center and a Research Associate Professor at the Rockefeller University, will focus on image analysis and manipulation – addressing what is acceptable and what would be considered scientific misconduct.

Date and place: 7th July from 10:00 – 13:30 in Room Ramon y Cajal.

Limited places - Registration is essential for this event! For more information and to register please visit: http://intervals.prbb.org/courses/course/97

This is a co-organised workshop between CRG and PRBB Intervals, and supported by the Marie Curie Action training network FLiACT.
