Greg Longmore, from the Washington University Medical School, BJC-IH BRIGHT Institute in St. Louis (MO), US, aims to understand how extracellular signals are transduced inside cells to influence the cellular cytoskeleton and effect cell motility or cell migration. He uses biochemical and cellular imaging systems, as well as computational models, to identify and quantify the interactions between these processes during cell migration. He focuses in particular in epithelia biogenesis and morphogenesis, EMT and cancer metastasis, and lung cancer.

He has been invited by Antonio García de Herreros (IMIM).
