L’Auditori va acollir el passat 13 de juliol la presentació del ‘Manual de Residus del PRBB’. L’esdeveniment va comptar amb la participació de Jordi Camí, director del PRBB, Jordi Macarro, Director de l’Àrea d’Informació i Participació de l’Agència de Residus de Catalunya del Departament de Medi Ambient i Habitatge, David Rojas, coordinador de CREAL Verd, i dels membres de la comissió de residus del PRBB, encarregats d’elaborar el manual.

El document, disponible en català, castellà i anglès, és repartirà a tots els residents del parc. El seu objectiu és ajudar a fer un correcte tractament dels residus produïts pels treballadors del PRBB en la seva tasca diària. El manual inclou una enumeració dels residus més habituals generats al parc, tant als laboratoris com a la resta de departaments, informació sobre els seus riscos i instruccions sobre el seu reciclatge i tractament.

Jordi Camí va emmarcar aquesta iniciativa en la política medi ambiental del PRBB i va anunciar la posada en marxa de noves accions de promoció de la sostenibilitat entre els residents. Entre les activitats engegades, Camí va destacar la implementació de la campanya de la Generalitat de Catalunya ‘A la feina fem salut. Pugem per les escales!’.

La presentació també va servir per resoldre alguns dels dubtes més habituals sobre el tractament de residus i per donar a conèixer el CREAL Verd, un grup format per investigadors del CREAL i adreçat a fomentar la sostenibilitat en la nostra vida diària.
La comissió de residus està formada per Sonia Alcázar García (CRG), Iván Auñón García (PRBB), Gemma Esparó Toldrá (UPF), Patxi Fernández Navarro (IMIM, CREAL), Rosabel Marrugat Lacosta (CMRB), Juan Carlos Pascual Arcos (PRBB), Josep Queralt Creus (CRG) i Jordi Ruiz i Rull (IAT, CRC CIM).


The new guide to waste managament at the PRBB

The presentation of the new “Guide to waste management at the PRBB” took place last July 13 at the PRBB conference hall. The event was attended by Jordi Camí, director of PRBB, Jordi Macarro, director of information at the Waste Agency of Catalonia, Ministry of Environment and Housing, David Rojas, coordinator of CREAL Verd, as well as the members of the waste management commission of the PRBB.

The guide, available in Catalan, Spanish and English, will be distributed to all residents of the park. Its goal is to help the PRBB workers to treat waste properly during their daily work. The guide includes a list of common waste generated in the park, both in laboratories and in other departments, information about its risks and instructions about how to manage and recycle.

Jordi Camí framed this initiative within the PRBB environmental policy and announced the launching of new actions to promote sustainability among residents. Among the activities undertaken, Camí highlighted the implementation of the Catalonian Govern campaign ‘Stay healthy at work. Climb stairs!’

The presentation also served to resolve some of the most common questions about the waste management and to present the CREAL Verd, a group of CREAL researchers aimed at promoting sustainability in our daily lives.
