The international scientific community is progressively adhering to Codes of Good Scientific Practices (GSP). The goal is to improve the quality of research practice and to prevent problems related to scientific integrity, going beyond what is required by laws and regulations and expanding on specific norms that apply to general scientific practice. Scientists from research centres at PRBB have adopted a common code.

In addition a Committee for Research Integrity has been set up by professionals from all PRBB centres as well as by external professionals to assist researchers in clarifying issues and conflicts derived from the implementation of the Code of Good Scientific Practices.
