The kick off meeting for CRISH (Co-CReating Innovative Solutions for Health) took place on March 9 and 10 in Barcelona. The project aims at teaching health care professionals, researchers and patients, a new participative and bottom-up approach to develop innovative processes or products that will improve health care. The project, funded by the European initiative EIT-Health, is coordinated by the University of Barcelona (UB), the Hospital Clinic and ISGlobal.
CRISH is a short training course that seeks to bring together different co-creation techniques, patient experience (XPA) and entrepreneurship to the different stakeholders in the health sector, including patients and health care workers, to develop products, processes or services that cover unmet needs in the field. It will focus on the re-design of clinical services, the development of innovative solutions for unmet needs, and the identification of new working hypothesis for future research.
The kick off meeting was attended by representatives of the different partners that participate in the project: the UB, Hospital Clinic, ISGlobal, the “la Caixa” Foundation, the IESE Business School, the Imperial College London, the University of Grenoble and IrsiCaixa.
